MISSION
To provide training and education on modern behavioral science and leadership theories used by law enforcement leaders to increase credibility with followers and effectiveness within their organizations.
Leadership in Police Organizations (LPO) Training
Target Audience:Class participants are sworn and civilian law enforcement personnel with ranks of chief through lieutenant or their equivalent. Other supervisory personnel may be considered on a case-by-case basis (space permitting) at the request of the agency head and approved by Az POST Center for Leadership Excellence Director Don Yennie. dyennie@azpost.gov.
Registration: Class size is limited to 36 students per session. For class reservations, prospective students must first obtain agency head and training coordinator approval with seat requests emailed to Deb Howard debh@azpost.gov. Registration priority will be given to agencies within the specified region.
